Sweet Vada



How To Make Sweet Vada


Serving 2 To 3 People


Cooking Time 15 Minutes




Ingredients For Making Sweet Vada:

- 1/2 Cup Water

- 250 Gm Jaggery

- 1 Tsp Finely Chopped Almonds

- 1 Tsp Finely Chopped Cashew Nuts

- 1/4 Tsp Cardamon Powder Or 2 Pieces Cardamom

- 1 Pinch Baking Soda

- 1 Tsp Oil

Method For Making Sweet Vada:

1. First Of All, Take A Pan Add 1/2 Cup Water After Adding Water In Pan Add 250 Gm Jaggery In The Pan Along With Water After Adding Both Jaggery And Water Cook Both The Ingredients Continuously Till Jaggery Properly Melts And Mix With Water. Once Jaggery Starts Melthing Slow Down The Gas Flame. After Slowing Down Gas Flame Continuously Mix The Jaggery Till Jaggery Melts And Mix With Water.

2. Once Jaggery Properly Melts Add 1 Tsp Finely Chopped Almonds,  1 Tsp Finely Chopped Cashew Nuts,  1/4 Tsp Cardamon Powder Or 2 Pieces Cardamom After Adding All The Ingredients In The Melted Jaggery Mix All The Ingredients Properly After Mixing Slow Down The Gas Flame After Slowing Down Take A Bowl Add 1 Cup Water.

3.  After Adding Water In The Bowl Take 1 Pinch Of Jaggery Mixture And Drop It In That Water With The Help Of Hand Finger After Dropping One Pinch Of Jaggery Mixture In The Water Take Out That Dropped Jaggery After Taking Out Eat That Jaggery Mixture If That Jaggery Easily Breaks With Teeth It Means Sweet Vada Is Ready And If Not Cook And Mix The Jaggery Mixture For More 5 To 10 Minutes After 5 To 10 Minutes Again Do The Same Thing With Water.(You Will See That Dropped Jaggery Automatically Binds Itself In Water).

4. Once Dropped Jaggery Makes Properly And Breaks With Teeth Easily Add 1 Pinch Baking Soda In The Jaggery Mixture After Adding Baking Soda Jaggery Mixture Again Properly Mix All The Ingredients Properly After Mixing Take A Plate After Taking Plate Add 1 Tsp Oil After Taking Oil Grease The Oil Properly In Plate After Greasing Take Out All The Jaggery Mixture In That Greased Plate.

5. After Taking Out Spread That Jaggery Mixture Properly After Spreading Leave The Jaggery Mixture For 1 Hour After 1 Hour Sweet Vada Automatically Came Out From That Plate Once It Automatically Out Break The Vada Into Small Pieces With The Help Of Hand After Making Small Pieces Sweet Vada Is Ready.

Sweet Vada Is Tasty, Delicious And Sweet To Eat. All The Ingredients Which Are Used To Make Sweet Vada Sweet Is Easily Available At Home And Can Make It Home With Least Amount of Time. You Can Easily Make The Vada At Home Just Follow The Above Method Rules Properly. You Can Keep Or Store The Sweet Vada For Not More Than 7 Days. If You More Dry More You Can Add And If You Don't Like You Can Also Ignore It.
