Moong Paratha




How To Make Moong Paratha


Serving 2 To 3 People


Cooking Time 10 Minutes




Ingredients For Making Moong Paratha Filling:

- 1 Cup Boiled Moong (Green Lentil)

- 2 Finely Chopped Onion

- 1 Finely Chopped Green Chilly

- 1/2 Cup Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves

- Salt To Taste

- 1/2 Tsp Red Chilly Powder

- 1/2 Tsp Dry Mango Powder

- Black Salt To Taste (Optional)

Ingredients For Making Wheat Flour Bread:

- 2 Cups Wheat Flour

- Water (As Much As Required)

- 1 Tsp Oil

Garnishing And Serving:

- Low Fat Curd

- Black Pepper

- Fried Papad

Method For Making Moong Paratha Filling:

1. First Of All, Take 1 Cup Sprouts In A Bowl After Taking Moong (Green Lentil) In The Bowl Soak Moong (Green Lentil) In 2 Cup Water For 5 To 6 Hours. After 5 To 6 Hours Take A Pressure Cooker Add 1 Cup Soaked Moong (Green Lentil) After Adding Moong In The Pressure Cooker Cook Till 1 Whistle.

2. After 1 Whistle Check The Green Lentil (Moong)  That If Moong (Green Lentil Boiled Properly Or Not If Not Cook The Moong (Green Lentil) For 1 Whistle More Once Moong Boiled Properly, Drain All The Water From Moong (Green Lentil).

3. After Draining All The Water From Moong (Green Lentil) Leave The Boiled Moong Till It Properly Cools Down Once Moong (Green Lentil) Properly Cools Take A Bowl Add Boiled And Cooled Moong (Green Lentil), 2 Finely Chopped Onion, 1 Finely Chopped Green Chilly, 1/2 Cup Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves, Salt To Taste, 1/2 Tsp Red Chilly Powder, 1/2 Tsp Dry Mango
Powder, Black Salt To Taste (Optional). After Adding All The Above Ingredients In The Bowl Mix All The Ingredients Properly With The Help Of Spoon After Mixing All The Ingredients Moong Paratha Filling Is Ready.

Making Of Wheat Flour Bread:

1. After Making Moong Paratha Filling, Take A Bowl Add 2 Cup Wheat Flour Slowly Slowly Add Water As Much As Required For Making A Dough. After Adding Water Mix It Properly After Mixing Make A Dough. After Making A Dough Add 1 Tsp Oil In The Dough After Adding Oil Again Mix It Properly After Mixing Rest The Dough For 10 Minutes.

2. After 10 Minutes Make A Small Balls Of The Rested Dough. After Making Balls Of The Dough, Take One Of The Small Balls And Roll It. After Rolling Fill The Moong Paratha Filling In Middle Of The Roll , After Filling The Moong Filling Inside The Paratha Cover The Roll After Covering Again Roll It And Make A Round Shape Chapati.

3. After Making A Round Shape Chapati Take A Pan, Add 1 Tsp Oil And Heat Heat Once Oil Gets Hot Add Moong Paratha In The Pan, After Adding Moong Paratha Cook The Paratha From Both The Sides Till Both Sides Become Golden Color.

4. Once Both Start Becoming Golden Color Add Oil From Both The Sides Of Paratha After Adding Oil From Both The Sides Again Cook It Till Both Sides Become Golden Color. Once Both Sides Become Golden Color, Moong Paratha Is Ready To Serve.

Garnish Or Serving:
Serve Or Garnish The Moong Paratha With Low Fat Curd , Black Pepper And Fried Papad
