Healthy Taro Root Chaat


How To Make Taro Root Chaat


Serving For 4 People


Making Time 15 Minutes




Ingredients :

- 1/2 Kg Taro Root (Arbi)

- 1 Tsp Salt

- 3 Cup Water

Garnish :

- Salt To Taste

- 1 Tsp Red Chilly Powder

- 1 Tsp Roasted Cumin Seeds

- 1 Tsp Chaat Masala

- 4 Tsp Jaggery And Tamarind Chutney

- 2 Tsp Coriander Chutney

Ingredients For Making Tamarind Jaggery Chutney:

- 1/2 Cup Tamarind

- 200 Gm Jaggery

- Salt To Taste

- 1/2 Tsp Black Salt

- 1/2 Tsp Red Chilly Powder

- 1/4 Tsp Roasted Cumin Seeds

- 1/2 Tsp Fennel

Method :
1. First Of All, Take A Pressure Cooker Add  1/2 Kg Taro Root (Arbi), 1 Tsp Salt, 3 Cup Water. After Adding All The Above Ingredients In The Pressure Cooker, Close The Cooker Lid And Cook Till 3 Whistle. After 3 Whistle Open The Cooker Lid, Take Out The Boiled Arbi (Taro Root) In The Bowl Amd Removed The Water In The Pressure Cooker After Taking Out, Properly Peel The Arbi Skin, After Peeling The Taro Root (Arbi)  Skin, Slice The Boiled Arbi. After Sliced Down Boiled Taro Root (Arbi), Taro Root Chaat Is Ready For Garnishing.

Garnishing :

1. First Of All, Take A Plate Add Boiled Sliced Arbi (Taro Root), After Adding Taro Root In The Plate, Garnish Arbi (Taro Root) With Salt To Taste, 1 Tsp Red Chilly Powder, 1 Tsp Roasted Cumin Seeds, 1 Tsp Chaat Masala. After Adding All The Above Ingredients Add 4 Tsp Jaggery And Tamarind Chutney, 2 Tsp Coriander Chutney. After Adding All The Above Needed Ingredients Mix All The Ingredients Properly And Taro Root Chaat Is Ready To Eat.

Method For Making Tamarind Jaggery Chutney:

1. First Of All, Take 1/2 Cup Tamarind And Wash It Properly With Water. After Washing Tamarind Drain All The Water From Tamarind. After Draining Water, Once Again Drain The Tamarind Water, After Draining Take A Pan Add Drained Tamarind Water,  200 Jaggery, Salt To Taste, 1/2, Tsp Black Salt, 1/2 Tsp Red Chilly Powder, 1/4 Tsp Roasted Cumin Seeds, 1/2 Tsp Fennel.

2. After Adding All The Above Ingredients Cook It Till Jaggery Properly Melts And Chutney Starts Boiling, Once Jaggery And Chutney Starts Melting Cook It Till 2 To 3 Boils. After 2 To 3 Boils Close The Gas Flame, And Kept The Tamarind Jaggery Chutney As It As, Till It Cools Down Once Chutney Cools Down, Then Tamarind Jaggery Chutney Is Ready. Now, Garnish Healthy Taro Root Chaat With Tamarind Jaggery Chutney.

Taro Root Chaat Is Tasty, Healthy And Delicious To Eat. This Recipe Is Spicy As Well As Good For Heath.
