Daal Makhani


How To Make Daal Makhani


Serving For 5 People

Cooking Time 15 Minutes




Ingredients :

- 1/4 Cup Chana Daal (Spilt Bengal Gram)

- 1/4 Cup White Urad Daal (White Gram)

- 1/2 Cup Black Urad Daal (Black Gram)

Ingredients  For Tampering :

- 2 Tsp Clarified Butter (Ghee)

- 2 Onion

- 3 To 4 Pieces Garlic

- 2 Green Chilly

- 1/2 Tsp Cumin Seeds

- Salt To Taste

- 1/4 Turmeric Powder

- 2 Tsp Red Chilly Powder

- 1 Tsp Garam Masala

Garnish :

- Fresh Cream

- Sliced Onion

- Sliced Tomato

- Sliced Lemon

Method :

1. First Of All, Take 1/4 Cup Chana Dal, 1/4 Cup White Urad Daal, 1/2 Cup Black Urad Daal In A Bowl And Wash It Properly From 2 To 3 Times In Normal Water. After Washing Soak  1/4 Cup Chana Dal, 1/4 Cup White Urad Daal, 1/2 Cup Black Urad Daal In 2 Cup Water For 2 Hours. After 2 Hours Take A Pressure Cooker Add 1/4 Cup Chana Daal, 1/4 Cup White Urad Daal, 1/2 Cup Black Urad Daal Along With 2 Cup Water. ( Which Is Used To Soak The Above Daal) After Adding All The Daal In Pressure Cooker Close The Pressure Cooker Lid Cook Till 2 Whistle.

2. After 2 Whistle, Open Pressure Lid And Mix It Properly With The Help Of Spoon After Mixing Properly Add 1/2 Cup Water After Adding Water Cook The Dal For 2 Boil.After 2 Boil Off Gas Flame, And Daal Makhani Is Ready For Tampering.

For Preparing Tampering :

1. First Of All, Take A Blender Jar Add 2 Onion, 3 To 4 Piece Garlic, 2 Green Chilly After Adding All The Above Ingredients Blend It Properly And Make A Smooth Paste. After Making A Smooth Paste, Take A Pan Add 2 Tsp Clarified Butter (Ghee), And Heat It, Once Clarified Butter (Ghee) Gets Hot Add 1/2 Tsp Cumin Seeds, Onion Green Chilly Paste After Adding Onion Green Chilly Paste In The Pan Mix It Properly And Cook It Till Paste Become Golden Color.

2.Once Paste Become Golden Color, Add Salt To Taste, 1/4 Turmeric Powder, 2 Tsp Red Chilly Powder, 1 Tsp Garam Masala . After Adding Cook The Tampering For 5 Minutes.After 5 Minutes Off The Gas Flame And Pour The Tampering In To Daal After Pouring Tampering Into The Daal Mix It Properly, After Mixing Daal Makhni Is Ready To Serve.

Garnish :
- Garnish Daal Makhani With Fresh Cream, Sliced Onion, Sliced Tomato, Sliced Lemon.
