Sai Bhaji And Pullao


How To Make Sai Bhaiji And Pullao


Serving 5 Peoples


Cooking Time 25 Minutes




Ingredients For Sai Bhaji:

- 1 Cup Yellow Split Peas ( Chana Daal )

- 1/2 Kg Finely Chopped Spinach

- 2 Finley Chopped Tomatoes

- 2 Finley Chopped Onion

- 4 To 5 Garlic Pieces Or Green Garlic (Any One Can Be Used)

- 2 Finley Chopped Green Chilly

- 1 Cup Fenugreek Leaves ( Methi )

- 1 Cup Dill Leaves ( Suya )

- Salt To Taste

- 1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder

- 2 Tsp Red Chilly Powder

- 2 Tsp Coriander Powder

- 2 Cups Water

- 1 Tsp Oil

Ingredients For Pullao:

- 2 Cups Washed Rice

- 2 Tsp Finely Chopped Green Garlic

- 4 Tsp Finely Chopped Fenugreek (Methi)

- 2 Finely Chopped Green Chilly

- Salt To Taste

- 2 Tsp Red Chilly Powder

- 1 Tsp Turmeric Powder

- 2 Tsp Oil

- 3 Cups Water

Garnishing Or Serving:

- Garnish Sai Bhaji And Pullao With Fresh Coriander Leaves.

Serving:

- Sliced Onion

- Sliced Tomato

- Lemon Slice

- Low Fat Curd With Namkeen(Sev)

Method For Making Sai Bhaji:

1. Take 1 Cup Yellow Split Peas ( Chana Daal ) And Soak The Chana Daal For 2 Hours, And Take Spinach And Wash The Spinach With Water. After Washing,  Take 1/2 Kg Washed Spinach And Cut The Spinach In Small Parts And Again Wash The Spinach In 3 To 4 Times In Normal Water. After Cutting Spinach And Washing Spinach, Take A Pressure Cooker And Add 1 Tsp Oil And Heat It. Once Oil Gets Hot Add 2 Finley Chopped Onion, 4 To 5 Garlic Pieces Or Green Garlic (Both Can Be Used In Making Of  Sai Bhaji), 2 Finley Chopped Green Chilly. After Adding All The Above Ingredients In Cooker, Mix It Well And Cook It Till Onion Become Golden Color.

2. When Onion Become Golden Color,  Then Add 2 Finley Chopped Tomatoes, 1 Cup Yellow Split Peas ( Chana Daal ) ( Which Is Already Soaked In Water For 2 Hour), And 1/2 Kg Washed And Cut Spinach . After Adding All The Above Ingredients, Mix All Ingredients Well , And Cook It For 10 Minutes. After 10 Minutes Add Salt To Taste, 1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder, 2 Tsp Red Chilly Powder, 2 Tsp Coriander Powder, 1 Cup Fenugreek Leaves, 1 Cup Dill (Suya) Leaves. After Adding All The Above Ingredients, Again Mix  All Ingredients Well,  Then After Mixing Add 2 Cup Water , And After Adding Water Close This Pressure Cooker Lid And Cook It For 5 Whistle.

3. After 5 Whistle Open This Pressure Cooker Lid And Mash The Spinach Mixture With The Help Of Masher And After Mashing Properly,  Add 1/2 Glass Of Water In Cooker And Cook It Till 2 Boils, After Boiling Spinach Is Ready To Serve In To Serving Plate For Garnishing.Garnish The Sai Bhaji With Fresh Coriander Leaves.

Method For Making Pullao:

1. First Of All, Take A Pan And Add 2 Tsp Oil And Heat, Once Oil Gets Hot Add 2 Tsp Finely Chopped Green Garlic,  4 Tsp Finely Chopped Fenugreek (Methi), 2 Finely Chopped Green Chilly And Cook It Till It Become Golden Color, After All The Ingredients Becomes Golden And Leaves Smooth Smell, Add 2 Cups Washed Rice And 3 Cups Water And Cook It For 10 Minutes.

2. After 10 Minutes, Pullao Started Boiling And After It Stops Boiling Close The Pan Lid And Cook The Pullao For 5 Minutes In Low Flame Of Gas. After 5 Minutes Check The Pullao With The Help Of Spoon And If It Properly Cook Close The Gas Flame And If Not Cook It More 2 To 3 Minutes. After 2 To 3 Minutes, Pullao Is Ready For Garnishing. Garnish Pullao With Fresh Coriander Leaves.

Serving :

Serve The Sai Bhaji And Pullao With Silced Onion, Sliced Tomato, Sliced Lemon And Low Fat Curd And Sev (Namkeen).
