Daal Baati



How To Make Daal Baati Recipe


Serving 4 Peoples


Cooking Time 1 To 2 Hours





Ingredients:

For Making Baati:

- 1/2 Kg Wheat Flour

- 4 Tsp Besan

- 2 Semolina (Sujii)

- 2 Tsp Ghee

- One Pinch Baking Soda

- Salt To Taste

- 4 Tsp Curd

- 1 Tsp Carrom Seeds (Ajawine)

- 1 Tsp Fennel

- Water (As Much As Required To Make Tight Dough)

For Making Daal:

- 250 Gm Split Pigeon Peas (Toor Dal)

- 2 Onion

- 2 Green Chilly

- 6 To 7 Garlic Pieces

- 2 To 4 Curry Leaves

- Salt To Taste

- 2 Tsp Red Chilly Powder

- 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder

- 1/2 Tsp Mustard Seeds

- 2 Dry Red Chilly

- 2 Finely Chopped Tomatoes

- 2 Tsp Oil

- 3 Cup Water

For Making Churma:

- 250 Gm Wheat Flour

- 1 Cup Ghee

- 1 Cup Sugar

- 1 Tsp Red Food Color

- 2 Tsp Cashew

- 2 Tsp Almonds

- 2 Tsp Pistachio Nut

- 2 Tsp Grated Coconut

- 1/2 Tsp Cardamon Powder

- 1 Cup Water

For Garnishing:

- Sliced Onion,

- Sliced Carrot ,

- Lemon Slice And

- Sliced Cucumber,

-  Mango Pickle

Method:

For Making Baati:

1. Take A Pan And 4 Tsp Besan And Roast It In Slow Flame Of Gas For 2 To 3 Minutes, After Roasting Besan For 2 To 3 Minutes,  Take A Bowl And Add 1/2 Wheat Flour, 4 Tsp Roasted Besan,  2 Semolina (Sujii), 2 Tsp Ghee, One Pinch Baking Soda Salt To Taste, 4 Tsp Curd, 1 Tsp Carrom Seeds (Ajawine), 1 Tsp Fennel, And Water (As Much As Required To Make Tight Dough) Mix All The Above Ingredients Properly And Make A Tight Dough.

2. After Making Tight Dough Make Small Balls Of That Dough, After Making Small Balls,  Take A Bhaati Oven And Add Maded Small Balls Of Baaties In That Oven And Cook It Till Both Sides Become Golden Color, When Baaties Become Golden Color Take Out That Bhaati In The Bowl.After Taking Out Baaties Take A Pan And Add 1 Cup Ghee And Heat It, Once Ghee Gets
Hot,  Add The Baaties In That Heated Ghee.And After Adding Baaties In The Ghee,  Baaties Is Ready To Serve.

For Making Daal:

1. First Of All Take 250 Gm Split Pigeon Peas (Toor Dal) And Add 4 Cups Water In The Daal And Soak It For 2 Hours, After 2 Hours Take A Pressure Cooker And Add Soaked Split Pigeon Peas (Toor Dal) And Cook It Till 2 Whistle. After 2 Whistle Open The Pressure Cooker Lid And Add Salt To Taste And 2 Tomatoes In The Boiled Daal And Mash The Daal With The Help Masher After Mashing, Add 3 Cups Water In The Daal And After Adding Water Cook The Daal For 2 To 3 Boils.

2. After Boiling Daal, Take A Pan And Add 2 Tsp Oil And Heat It, Once Oil Gets Hot Add 2 Dry Red Chilly,  1/2 Tsp Mustard Seeds, 2 Green Chilly,  2 Finely Chopped Onion, 6 To 7 Garlic Finely Chopped,  2 To 4 Curry Leaves, 2 Tsp Red Chilly Powder, 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder In The Oil And After Adding All The Above Ingredients, Mix It Well And After Mixing Cook That Mixture Properly Till It Become Golden Color.

3. After Mixture Become Golden Color, Pour That Mixture In The Boiled Daal Which We Already Boil Above, After Adding Mixture In The Daal Mix It Well And After Mixing Pour That Daal In The Bowl For Garnishing. Garnish The Daal With Fresh Coriander Leaves, After Garnishing Daal Is Ready To Serve.

For Making Churma:

1. First Of All, Take A Bowl And Add 250 Gm Wheat Flour, 1 Cup Ghee And After Adding Ghee In The Wheat Flour And Water And Make A Tight Dough, And After Making Tight Dough, Make Small Balls Of That Dough After Making Small Balls,  Take A Bhaati Oven And Add Small Bhaaties In That Oven And Cook It Till Both Sides Become Golden Color, When Baaties Become Golden Color Take Out That Baaties In The Bowl.

2.After Making Small Baaties Shape, Take A Mix Jar And Add Small Baaties Which Made Above In Jar And Blend It And Make A Smooth Powder. After Making Smooth Powder Of Baaties, And After Making Smooth Powder, Take Out That Powder In The Bowl And Add 1 Cup Sugar, 1 Tsp Red Food Color, 2 Tsp Cashew, 2 Tsp Almonds, 2 Tsp Pistachio Nut, 2 Tsp Grated Coconut, 1/2 Tsp Cardamon Powder And After Adding All The Above Ingredients, Take A Pan And Add 1 Cup Ghee And Heat, Once Ghee Gets Hot Pour That Ghee Into The Above Ingredients.

Serving:

Serve The Daal Bhaati With Sliced Onion, Sliced Carrot , Lemon Slice And Sliced Cucumber, Mango Pickle
