Special Mom's Chana Recipe













How To Make Mom's Chana Recipe

Serving 4 People

Cooking Time 30 Minutes


Ingredients :

- 1 Cup Chole

- 1 Boiled & Mashed Potato

- 1 Onion

- 2 To 3 Piece Garlic

- 1 Green Chilly

- 2 Tomatoes

- 1 Pinch Baking Soda

- 2 Cup Water

- 1 Tsp Red Chilly Powder

- 1 Tsp Chola Masala

- 1/4 Turmeric Powder

- Salt To Taste

- 1/2 Tsp Coriander Powder

- 2 Tsp Curd

- 1/4 Tsp Roasted Cumin Seeds

- 10 Gm Tamarind Soaked In 1/2 Cup Water

- 1 Tsp Oil

Garnish :

- Fresh Coriander Leaves

- Onion

- Lemon Slice

Method :

1. First Of All Soak Chole In Water For 4 To 5 Hours After 4 To 5 Hours Take A Pressure Cooker And Add Soaked Chole, 2 Cup Water, 1 Pinch Baking Soda After Adding Ingredients Close The Pressure Cooker Lid And Cook It Till 2 Whistle.

2. After 2 Whistle, Take A Mixi Jar And Add 1 Onion, 2 To 3 Piece Garlic, 1 Green Chilly And Blend It And Make A Smooth Paste After Making A Smooth Paste Again Take A Mixi Jar And Add 2 Tomatoes And Make A Smooth Pure.

3.After Making Both Paste And Tomato Pure,Take A Pan Add 1 Tsp Oil And Heat It.Once Oil Gets Hot Add 1/4 Tsp Roasted Cumin Seeds And Smooth Paste (Onion, Garlic, Green Chilly Paste) And Cook This Paste Till It Become Golden Color.

4. When The Paste Become Golden Color, Add 2 Tsp Curd, 1 Tsp Red Chilly Powder, 1 Tsp Chola Masala, 1/4 Turmeric Powder, Salt To Taste, 1/2 Tsp Coriander Powder In The Pan And Mix It Well.

5. After Mixing All The Above Ingredients, Add Boiled Chole And 1 Boiled & Mashed Potato. And Cook It For 10 Minutes In Low Flame Of Gas After 10 Minutes, Add Tomato Pure In The Pan And Again Cook It For 10 To 15 Minutes In Low Flame Of Gas After 10 To 15 Minutes Add 1 Cup Water, 10 Gm Tamarind Water Which Already (Soaked In 1/2 Cup Water).

6. After Adding Tamarind Water In The Chole Again Cook It For 2 To 3 Boil.After 2 To 3  Boil Off The Gas Flame And Chole Is Ready To Serve. Serve The Chole In Serving Plate For Garnishing.

Garnish :

- Garnish Chole With Fresh Coriander Leaves, Onion Piece And Lemon Slice. After Garnishing Serve The Chole With Brown Bread Or Bathure.
