How To Make Masala Fry Idli

Ingredients :
For Making Idli Batter:
- 2 Cup Semolina ( Suji )
- Salt To Taste
- ENO ( Fruit Salt )
- Curd (As Much As Required For Making Idli Batter)
For Making Masala For Fry Idli:
- 50 Gm Paneer (Optional)
- 6 Boiled & Mashed Potatoes
- 2 Finley Chopped Onion
- 2 Finley Chopped Green Chilly
- Salt To Taste
- 1 Tsp Red Chilly Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Garam Masala
- 1/2 Tsp Chaat Masala
- 1 Tsp Fennel (Saunf )
- 2 Tsp Oil
For Tampering :
- 1 Tsp Oil
- 1/2 Tsp Mustard Seeds
- 10 To 12 Curry Leaves
Garnish :
- Tomato Sauce
Method :
For Making Idli Batter:
1. Take A Bowl And Add 2 Cup Semolina(Suji), And Add Curd (As Much Required For Making Idli Batter ).The Idli Batter Should Be Thick.After Adding Curd Mix It Well And Rest This Batter For 1/2 Hour.
2. After 1/2 Hour Add Salt To Taste, ENO (Fruit Salt), In The Idli Batter And Mix It Well. After Mixing Idli Batter Well, Idli Batter Is Ready To Steam And Make Fry Idli.
For Making Masala For Fry Idli:
1. First Of All, Take A Pan Add 2 Tsp Oil And Heat It.Once Oil Gets Hot Add 2 Finley Chopped Onion, 2 Finley Chopped Green Chilly, And Sotay The Onion And Green Chilly For 5 Minutes.
2. After 5 Minutes Add 50 Gm Paneer, 6 Boiled & Mashed Potatoes, Salt To Taste, 1 Tsp Red Chilly Powder, 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder, 1/2 Tsp Garam Masala , 1/2 Tsp Chaat Masala, 1 Tsp Fennel (Saunf ), And Mix It Well.
3. After Mixing All The Above Ingredients Well, Now Off The Gas Flame And Cool Down This Mixture For 10 Minutes, After 10 Minutes,Take Idli Steamer Add 2 Cup Water And Boil This Water. After Water Become Boil, Take Idli Plate And Grease The Idli Plate With Oil.
4. After Greasing Oil In The Plate, Pour 1/2 Tsp Idli Batter In To The Idli Plate, After Pouring Batter , Pour 1 Tsp Masala On The Batter Then Again Pour 1/2 Tsp Idli Batter On It. Then Do Like This For Making All Idli And Then Steam This Masala Idli In Idli Steamer For 5 Minutes.
5. After 5 Minutes Check The Masala Idli With Knife And If Knife Become Clean It Means Idli Is Ready For Tampering And If Not, Cook The Masala Idli For More 5 Minutes, And If Idli Is Ready TakeOut These Plate In To The Idli Steamer. And Leave It For 1 - 2 Minutes For Cooling. After 1 - 2 Minutes Take Out Idli From The Plate And Now Our Masala Idli Is Ready For Tampering.
For Tampering Fry Idli:
1. Take A Pan Add 1 Tsp Oil And Heat It. Once Oil Gets Hot Add 1/2 Tsp Mustard Seeds, 10 To 12 Curry Leaves.Cook It For 1 Minutes .After 1 Minute Tampering Is Ready.And Pour This Tempering In To Masala Idli And Masala Idli Is Ready To Serve.
Garnish :
- Garnish Masala Idli With Tomato Sauce.
