Papdi Chaat



How To Make Papdi Chaat


Serving 2 People


Cooking Time 15 Minutes




Ingredients:

Ingredients For Making Papdi:

- 2 Cups Maida Flour

- 1/2 Cup Semolina (Suji)

- 1/2 Tsp Ajwain

- Salt To Taste

- 2 Tsp Oil

- Water (As Much As Required To Make Smooth Dough)

Ingredients For Making Papdi Chaat:

- 2 Whole Papdi

- 2 Finely Chopped Onion

- 2 Finely Chopped Green Chilly

- 1 Tsp Boiled Chickpeas (Chana)

- 1 Tsp Boiled And Smashed Sprouts

- 2 Finely Chopped Boiled Potatoes

- 1 Cup Finely Chopped Fresh Coriander Leaves

- Black Salt To Taste

- 2 Tsp Tamarind Jaggery Chutney

- 1 Tsp Coriander Chutney

- 1 Tsp Lemon Juice

- 1/4 Tsp Red Chilly Powder

- One Pinch Roasted Cumin Seeds

- 2 Tsp Sev Daal

- 1 Tsp Low Fat Curd (Optional)

Garnish:

- Fresh Coriander Leaves

- Sev (Namkeen)

Method:

Method For Making Papdi:

1. Take A Bowl Add 2 Cups Maida Flour, 1/2 Cup Semolina (Suji), 1/2 Tsp Ajwain, Salt To Taste, 2 Tsp Oil, Water (As Much As Required To Make Smooth Dough), After Adding All The Above Ingredients Mix All The Ingredients Properly .

2. After Mixing Making A Dough. After Making Dough Rest The Dough For 1/2 Hour. After 1/2 Hour, Make Small Balls Of That Dough After Making Small Balls Make Small Round Shape Papdi (Chapati) After Making Round Shape Papdi Make All Other Small Shape Papdi Like This.

3. After Making All The Papdi,  Take A Pan And Add 2 Cups Oil And Heat It Once Oil Gets Hot,  Add One By One Maded Small Papdi In The Hoted Oil After Adding Papdi Fry The Maded Papdi Till Both Sides Become Golden Color. Once Both Sides Become Golden Color Take Out The Small Shape Papdi In The Tissue Paper To Remove Excess Oil.

4. After Removing Excess Papdi Is Ready For Chaat.After Making All The Papdi Leave The Hot Papdi For 15 To 20 Minutes Till All Papdi Properly Cools Down. Once Papdi’s Cools Down Papdi Is Ready For Chaat.

Method For Making Papdi Chaat:

1. First Of All, Take A Bowl Add 2 Finely Chopped Onion, 2 Finely Chopped Green Chilly,  2 Finely Chopped Boiled Potatoes, 1 Cup Finely Chopped Fresh Coriander Leaves, 1 Tsp Boiled And Smashed Chickpeas (Chana), 1 Tsp Boiled And Smashed Sprouts In The Bowl.

2. After Adding All The Above Ingredients In The Bowl Mix All The Ingredients Properly With The Help Of Spoon After Mixing All The Ingredients Add Black Salt To Taste, 2 Tsp Tamarind Jaggery Chutney,  1 Tsp Coriander Chutney, 1 Tsp Lemon Juice 1/4 Tsp Red Chilly Powder, One Pinch Roasted Cumin Seeds, 2 Tsp Sev Daal After Adding All The Above Ingredients In The Bowl Again Mix All The Ingredients Properly.

3. After Mixing All The Ingredients Properly, Take One Fried And Cooled Papdi In The Serving Plate After Taking Papdi Add 4 To 5 Tsp Of Mixture In Above The Papdi. After Adding Mixture In Above Papdi Spread The Mixture All Over The Papdi Properly. After Adding Mixture And Spreading Mixture In The Papdi Add 1 Tsp Low Fat Curd(Optional)After Adding Curd, Papdi Chaat Is Ready For Garnishing.

Garnishing:
After Making Papdi Chaat Add Fresh Coriander Leaves And Sev (Namkeen) Above The Papdi Chaat.


Recipe Note:
Papdi Chaat Recipe Is Tasty,  Spicy And Delicious To Eat. All The Ingredients Which Are Used To Make The Papdi Chaat Recipe Is Easily Available At Home And Can Make It With Least Amount of Time. You Can Make Papdi And Store It For 10 To 15 Days. You Can Use Both Whole Papdi Or Smashed Papdi For Making Chaat.

  1. Oh, what a pity. This dish I can’t cook. We do not sell some ingredients at all. It would be nice if you wrote what can be replaced or what are similar products.
