Methi Thepla




How To Make Methi Thepla


Serving 2 To 3 People


Cooking Time 15 Minutes




Ingredients For Making Methi Thepla:

- 1 Cup Wheat Flour

- 1 Tsp Green Garlic

- 1 Finely Chopped Green Chilly

- 2 Tsp Finely Chopped Fenugreek Leaves (Methi)

- 1 Tsp Cumin Seeds

- 1/2 Tsp Ajwain

- 2 Tsp Low Fat Curd

- Salt To Taste

- 1/2 Tsp Red Chilly Powder

- 1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder

- 2 Tsp Oil

- Water (As Much As Required)

Ingredients For Frying Methi Thepla:

- Ghee Or Butter

Garnish:

- Low Fat Curd

- Fried Papad

Method For Making Methi Thepla:

1. First Of All, Take A Bowl Add 1/2 Cup Water In The Bowl, After Adding Water In The Bowl Boil The Water Properly. After Boiling Water Close The Gas Flame After Closing Gas Flame Again Take Another Bowl After Taking Bowl Add 1 Cup Wheat Flour, 1 Tsp Green Garlic, 1 Tsp Cumin Seeds, 2 Tsp Finely Chopped Washed Fenugreek Leaves (Methi) , 1 Finely Chopped Green Chilly,  1/2 Tsp Ajwain After Adding All The Above Ingredients In The Bowl Mix All The Ingredients Properly With The Help Of Hand.

2. After Mixing All The Above Ingredients In The Bowl Add 2 Tsp Low Fat Curd, Salt To Taste, 1/2 Tsp Red Chilly Powder,  1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder,  2 Tsp Oil After Adding All The Above Ingredients Again Mix All The Ingredients With The Help Of Hand After Mixing All The Ingredients Slowly Slowly Add Warm And Boiled Water (Which Boiled Above) In The Mixture After Adding Required Water In The Mixture Make A Thick Dough Of Mixture.

3. After Making Thick Dough Cover The Methi Dough With Plate Or Anything For 5 Minutes. After 5 Minutes Uncover The Dough And Uncovering Dough Again Mix The Dough. After Mixing Make Small Balls Of Methi Dough. After Making Small Balls Make Round Shape Chapties Like  Methi Thepla.

4. After Making Small Round Shape Chapties Of Methi Dough Take A Pan Add 1 Tsp Ghee Or Butter (Whichever You Like To Fry Thepla) And Heat It. Once Ghee Or Butter Gets Hot Add One By One Small Round Shape Methi Chapties After Adding Methi Thepla In The Pan Fry The Thepla From Both The Sides Till Both Sides Of Thepla Become Golden Color.Once Both Sides Become Golden Color Take Out The Methi Thepla In Serving Plate. After Taking Methi Thepla Is Ready Fir Garnishing And Serving.

Garnishing:
Garnish Or Serve Thepla With Low Fat Curd,  Mango Pickle, Or Fried Papad.
