Healthy Khichdi



How To Make Healthy Khichdi


Serving For 2 People

Ingredients :

Ingredients For Making Khichdi :

- 1 Cup Rice

- 1/4 Cup Green Gram (Green Moong Dal)

- Salt To Taste

- 1 Tsp Ghee

- 4 Cup Water

Ingredients For Frying Potatoes :

- 6 To 7 Small Dicely Chopped Potatoes

- 1 Finley Chopped Green Chilly

- Salt To Taste

- 1 Tsp Red Chilly Powder

- 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder

- 2 Tsp Coriander Powder

- 1/2 Tsp Dry Mango Powder

- 2 Cups Finely Chopped Fresh Coriander Leaves

- 1 Tsp Oil

Serving :

- Curd

Method For Making Khichdi:

1. First Of All, Take A Bowl Add 1 Cup Rice, 1/4 Cup Green Gram After Adding Rice And Green Gram In A Bowl Soak 1 Cup Rice, 1/4 Cup Green Gram In 2 Cups Water For 1 Hour. After 1 Hour Wash The Rice And Green Gram 3 To 4 Times In Normal Water After Washing Take Pressure Cooker Add 1 Tsp Ghee And Heat It. Once Oil Gets Hot Add Soaked And Washed 1 Cup Rice And 1/4 Cup Green Gram, Salt To Taste. After Adding All The Above Ingredients Mix All The Ingredients Well.

2. After Mixing All The Ingredients Properly, Cover The Pressure Cooker Lid , After Covering The Pressure Cooker Lid Cook It For 3 Whistle. After 3 Whistle, Open The Pressure Cooker Lid After Opening The Cooker Lid Check The Khichdi If Khichdi Is So Thick Add 1/2 Cup Water, After Adding 1/2 Cup Water Cook The Khichdi For More 10 To 15 Minutes And If Not Khichdi Is Not So Thick And So Thin Then Khichdi Is Ready To Serve With Fried Potatoes.

Method For Frying Potatoes :

1. After Making Khichdi Recipe, Take A Pan Add 1 Tsp Oil And Heat It. Once Oil Gets Hot Add 6 To 7 Chopped Potato, 1 Finley Chopped Green Chilly. After Adding All The Above Ingredients In The Pan Cook The Ingredients Till Potatoes Become Soft And Golden Color. Once Potatoes Become Soft And Golden Color Add Salt To Taste, 1 Tsp Red Chilly Powder, 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder.

2. After Adding All The Above Ingredients Add 2 Tsp Coriander Powder, 1/2 Tsp Dry Mango Powder, 2 Cup Finely Chopped Fresh Coriander Leaves . After Adding Mix All The Ingredients Well. After Mixing Cook All The Ingredients For 5 Minutes. After 5 Minutes Fried Potatoes Is Ready To Serve With Khichdi.

Serving :
- Serve Healthy Khichdi With Fry Potatoes, Curd, Papad.
