How To Make Fried Papad
Making Time 25 Minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 Kg Papad Flour
- 50 Gm Black Pepper
- 50 Gm Baking Soda
- 30 Gm Cumin Seeds
- Salt To Taste
- 20 Gm Asafoetida Powder (Heeng)
- 20 Gm Alum ( Fitkari)
- 1 Tsp Oil
- 2 To 3 Cups Water
Method Of Making Fried Papad:
1. First Of All, Take A Bowl Add 2 Tsp Cumin Seeds, 2 Cup Water And Leave It For 15 Minutes. After 15 Minutes Take 1 Kg Papad Flour (Which Easily Available In Market) In The Big Bowl After Taking Papad Flour In The Bowl Add 50 Gm Black Pepper , 50 Gm Baking Soda , Salt To Taste, 20 Gm Asafoetida Powder (Heeng) , 20 Gm Alum ( Fitkari) Powder, After Adding All The Above Ingredients In The Bowl Along With Papad Flour Slowly Slowly Add Cumin Seeds Water Which We Made Above And Left For 15 Minutes. After Adding Cumin Seeds Water Start Making A Dough And Add More Water If Needed If Not Don't Add It And Make A Tight Dough.
2. After Making A Tight Dough Make Small Balls Of That Dough. After Making Small Balls Make Round Shape Papad. After Making Round Shape Papad Keep The Papad In The Sunlight For 10 To 15 Minutes So That Papad Becomes Dry (As Shown In Below Picture) . Once Papad Become Dry Papad Is Ready And If Papad Does Not Become Dry Keep The Papad More 10 Minutes In Sunlight. Once Papad Becomes Properly Dry Take 1 Tsp Oil In The Pan And Heat It. Once Oil Becomes Hot Add Dry Papad And Fry It From Both The Sides In Low Flame Of Gas. Once Both Sides Become Golden Color Fried Papad Is Ready To Eat.
